Our Journey
Sambora Kinigi Lodge was founded by three friends – Greg, James, and Sam – who share a love for Rwanda and its incredible wildlife. Inspired by their own journeys exploring Rwanda’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage, they established the lodge to provide travelers with an authentic and luxurious experience that complements the adventure of gorilla trekking.
Built with sustainability at its core, Sambora Kinigi Lodge offers a seamless blend of comfort and eco-consciousness. Our eco-friendly design minimizes environmental impact, and we work closely with the local community to support conservation and socio-economic development initiatives.
